Tube Bender #3

The No.3 Bender is perfect for larger projects and professional use, offering some marked improvements over commercially bought variants. A time-saving quick action clamp secures the tube to the die and will not mark the tube unlike the more common use of a bolt pressing against the tube.

The Bender can be quickly de-mounted and stored away when not in use.

The Bender is designed with the utmost simplicity of construction in mind. The Stand and most of the other components can, in most instances, be made from common steel off-cuts found in the average workshop.

While the arms and ratchet can be made using a pedestal drill and hacksaw or angle grinder, they would be much easier produced using a bandsaw or simply buy the laser cut plate kit from Rorty!

The only other tools required are a felt tip marker, a tape measure, a setsquare, an adjustable bevel, a hacksaw or cut-off saw, a pedestal or hand drill, a welder, and an angle grinder or file for finishing.

Die sets for round and square tube and pipe are available by mail order or on-line.

Rorty Tube Bender #3 Laser Cutting Files

DXF files for you to take to you local laser cutter!

You can have your local laser cutter, waterjet cutter or plasma cutter CNC cut all the major plate components ready for assembly.  You get a great quality finish and save many hours or work.

The build manual is required to complete the build, DXF files are for laser cut plate parts only, no assembly instructions included.

Files are included for bender arms to suit ProTools and JD2 dies as detailed in the build manual, do not cut both sets.

DXF files are for single use only in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Deburring and drilling/reaming of pin/pivot holes may be required.
